well i got my da9 lowered for 400 at Ozzy tyres in Hoxton park. do you plan on tracking the car? if is then buy coils instead, if no then buy springs, make sure when u buy springs don't go too low just too look good i experienced that and scraped everywhere, due to the fact that the da9 has a low undercarriage already. I went 2.25 inches low on kmac springs it was a harsh ride but it was a firm one too, i was also sitting on 17 inch rims
Thats my 2c

As above, for street and looks go the ground control coils. for street and track go full coilovers (shock and spring).

Well they are made in USA so take one guess... 5 seconds with google and honda-tech will answer any Honda question you have.
To help a little more: there are plenty of sponsors on honda-tech who ship to Australia. Alternately just buy from the ground-control store for a little more.

Coilover is one of those terms which has been missused so much that it's new meaning is commonplace and accepted.
Generally, when people say "Coilovers", they mean the package of a height adjustable spring perch with shocks. Really coilover just means having the coil over the shock as opposed to somewhere else on the suspension (BMW E30 rear suspension for example).
There is no difference in potential performance between a packaged "coilover" compared to picking a shock and spring on your own.
Ground Control are an American company which offer height adjustable spring packages for many types of shocks. They do not include the shocks themselves so you must supply them on your own. However, many vendors will have packages, commonly with Koni sport dampers.
They use Eibach race springs and are of high quality. Ground control offer a life-time warranty on all parts even if used for racing purposes. The Eibach springs are LINEAR in spring rate. This means it takes the same force to compress a given ammount, at any ammount of compression. A standard spring gets stiffer the more you compress it, giving a softer ride over smaller bumps. A linear spring will cause you to feel every bump, the upside is incredible steering and general road feel, and increased handling predictability. If you are into handling, stiff linear springs coupled with a decent damper will blow your mind.
I hope in the above pile of garbage I just spewed out there's something in there you might have wanted to know :D

So are u saying if i bought these... http://www.ground-control-store.com/products/description.php/II=13/CA=73
i would need to buy some shocks aswell??? are these therefore going to be height adjustable? it asks what brand of shock i want and the ride feel, so do i need anything else to use these?
Thanks again for ur help string

Yes you need to buy shocks aswell. They ask for the shock you are using as the sleeve fits differently on different shocks, meaning that if you buy a set for use on Koni's, you probably won't be able to use them on other brands.
Yes they are height adjustable, as mentioned in the description "Expected ride height change from .5 to 3.5 inches".
You don't *need* anything else other than the above and a set of shocks. Stock shocks are not an option. They will severly underdamp, as well as wear out quickly when lowering.
If lowering a lot, you might want to invest in the extended top-hats (also by Ground Control), or have your shock shaft shortened and rethreaded. This way you can lower while still retaining a good ammount of travel. But since you have a DA9 i'm assuming you won't be going too low anyway (underbody is very low).
I went the route of extended top-hats instead of shortening the shock, incase I want to change shocks in the future.
I am unsure of what spring rates you will get by specifying one of the "ride feel" options. You can choose your own rates if you want. The off the shelf rates are front biased like stock.
