well i recently got a loan approved :).. so i got 10k

and i wanna knoe what will be best..

ive thought about getting a ek vti-r found one for 11.5k (completely stock)

or getting a high klm and cheap eg and do a b18cr swap (if possible)

but cant find any engine conversion places in melbourne..

finally got my loan and dont knoe what to do =_=

i do prefer eg's over ek's, so if any engine conversion places for honda in melbourne do exist.. please post =!~

eg + b18cr usually cost more than 10k

10k wont get you too far in terms of purchasing a car AND modding it...esp when you're talking about conversions.

With ya 10k loan, get a vtir...
Either that, or pay the money back, and save more.

Avoid the B16b. Same price as a B18c7 but less grunt and power.
As above $10k will only get you in debt.
Either get a bigger loan or save up son.

take in mind other costs that you may have to pay for..

10k isnt much of a budget to play with when it comes down to doing conversion properly.. 10k for car + conversion that is

mate if your green to it all get a car that's already able to be driven, a conversion is more headache than its worth at times, especially if you've never dones it or have little mechanical experience

go the VTIR - that price is cheap

there are a handful of places that will do good quality honda swaps but as stated above you are better off just getting a vtir atm

i think ima get a eg si for 6.9k then save up for a engine conversion in the future.. and just make it look nice with the rest of the loan money
