Hi all, I'm going to get some rims for my civic ek1 sedan this weekend and was wondering what everyone thought about these 2 rims and which on i should go for?

http://www.tempetyres.com.au/content/products/sm_GF7_SHADOW.jpg 17*7.0 Lenso Tenzo GF7
http://www.tempetyres.com.au/content/products/sm_GT6_HYBERBLACK.jpg 17*7.0 Lenso Tenzo GT-6

Also i'm looking to lower my car and so far only found 2 places to do it. Ozzy Tyres ($390 kings) and Big O Tyres ($350 kings). Would anyone know any other places around Sydney that does car lowerings and if you know the price that would help out alot too. Thanks.

yeah i'm getting it from Tempe tyres. To add the pictures just press on Go advance button at the bottom and stroll down until you see Attach Files, then just locate the file on your computer.

I'm not too sure if it includes installation its just says from $350 on the website. I've just been looking around haven't been able to go get a quote yet.

the first ones look good!

If you do proceed with lowering check your nuts after installation cos when I got my coilovers put in seems like the person wrecked 2 of my bolts when I got it lowered on kamcs at Ozzy tyres. MOFOS!

Not sure if sprongs sag but something you may want to think about.

I took my springs out after 4 months. Too bouncy and cbf with scrapping everywhere.

goodluck with it anyway try n get it right first time and post som pics up of ya new rims when you get em. Im sure itll look good.

just FYI with tempe make sure you specify a rubber you want fitted. don't just go with "whats on special" or a "wheel and tire package" the tires they usually bundle it with are rubbish. In a few cases I've seen the tires have actually been the wrong size for the rims or tires that have a very old manufacture date(rubber has gone hard).

thanks for that will keep that in mind

and i've seen some which have had the wrong load rating too so be careful

what are the legalities of that i.e. dept of fair trading/RTA wise?

yeah i got the GT-6. The GF-7 isn't as deep dish like how it is in the image, so i settled for the GT-6. I'm happy with it, just need it to be lowered.
Does anyone know where i can get Tein Springs or where i can get it fitted in Sydney??
Oh by the way, the GF-7 in the 18" does have a deep deep dish but not in the 17".

390 at ozzytyres does include installation. I chose kmac springs over king springs though. Kmacs IMO are better :)

390 + 40(wheel allignment) = 430 altogether

Is there only Kmac and King Spring at ozzy tyres? As I've had friends that put kings and kmac springs on and are now complaining about it. Being too bumpy and sagging.
Has anyone has any experience with TEIN springs?

TEIN i hard arent as soft as kmacs or kings so it would be a more comfortable ride. but ozzytyres don have those springs.

I ended up getting Kumho Ecsta SPT tyres 205/40/17. I'm not sure what tyres are good but my bro said these tyres are pretty good.

lil4civ

oh its probably cause the ground is slopping down at the front and yeah have heaps of stuff in the boot which probably weighed it down at the back.
