Hi All,

Thought i'd ask here as i haven't researched it in further detail yet as it only happened this morning....

Specifically the Del Sol EG2, or any other OBD1 Honda... Is there a failsafe in the system that prevents the car from starting if the alternator regulator is dead/dying?

My battery kept discharging this morning the moment i try to start, but it runs fine when i jump start it.

My jump starter has a voltmeter and it's fluctuating around 15v so i know my reg is dead...

yeah your right...

jumpstarted it, and as soon as i turn the headlights on it died.

well it just means the alternator is the root cause coz of the dead regulator... killed the battery gradually.

cars are expensive dammit.

and i still have your dizzy cap! :p
