Hello ppl, just thought i'd say hello and introduce myself, names alex and here is my first car, it lacks balls but,.. it does the job... no future plans for it at all anymore, its just a get around car.
just a note; when i bought it i had a no idea about cars or engine types etc etc... i didn't even know it was a 1.5L when it was bought. But then coming on here 2 yrs later only to find out its one of the shittest engines ever built by honda lol, ah well u get that. like turning on the a/c the whole thing slows down to snail pace..like wtf
mods in those 2 yrs.. back in my school days workin partime; custom air intake piping/apexi pod, xforce 421 straws.. custom 2.5" exhaust, mercury exhaust and dump style tip. 15" painted black mags. (worst thing i'v ever done lol) and lowered/king springs. did the colour coding myself.
although its a nice first car, really want a change.

Nice write up,I enjoyed it :)
You can always sell it on here or maybe do a swap.
Have to make a few posts before you can sell.
Good luck man, nice to hear from ya.

Cheers ppl, not really sure what car to pick next, being on this site i'v heard nothing but great things about DC2r's, seems to be the cream of the crop? although a bit pricey for an unemployed uni stud like many of us.
Realistic cars to go for next whether after uni/get my ass a jay o bee:
Integra DC2r
Prelude; latest model
Mazda Rx7 FC
But in the end i can't really say because i haven't driven any of them before. The only thing i'v driven apart from a civic is a tarago... so you see? Cheers.

G'day Alex nice sedan you have there. I say keep the civic and fit either a B,K or H series VTEC engine. Being your first car and the only car your familiar with apart from a Tarago, i would recommend upgrading the engine, brakes and suspension if you do an engine swap.
Best of all you will be able to feel the benefits of each upgrade as you go and learn a heap if you do it yourself.

lol, thanks beeza, not sure if your being sarcastic, i don't think you are, but if u r, screw u haha :p
Jarks, have already contemplated engine conversions but at the end of the day its just a civic to me. I need more than that. I mean its a bloody good daily and an ideal car for modifications as exampled by many on this site but its just not gonna cut it with me lol. as i mentioned buying another car such as a prelude or integra.. that i would consider an upgrade ...they just have more appeal i guess.. over a civic with the same engine, not really sure what I'm trying to put forward but i hope you catch my drift...wow come to think of it..to sum it up i just want something non-civic next, not that I'm against them...coz i bloody own one! haha
Cheers for listening. Alex
