I am currently contemplating whether or not to put a body kit on to my S2000, front, back and sides.
A smash repairers called Nutec in Yennora NSW have quoted to supply, fit and paint the kit at a cost of $1500-$1600 seems like a good buy at that price. I have attached a pic of the kit.
My questions are as follows,
Has anyone dealt with Nutec before ?
Do you think the price quoted is a good price?
Has anyone had a similar kit fitted and what problems have you had post fitting.
Lastly the question I might not want to hear the answer to, Is it wanky to do this to the S2K?

Geordie  or :thumbdwn:

seriously , that bodykit does not suit the smooth lines of the S2000 .

For that price, im sure it is made from fiber glass, one nudge and you'll be up for a new front bar , sides etc. And fit gets worst with time.

If you must kit your car, spent abit more $$$ and get a decent looking kit .

you think thats bad....theres an s2000 going around western sydney (liverpool) with a 2 tone paint job. front half is GPW and back half is burgundy....it has what appears to be a veilside front bar or whole kit. and to top it off has some chromes....worse s2k i have seen....

I think it looks wrong.
I think you should go for an OEM AP1 kit, or do a AP2 front end conversion with AP2 OEM front lip or get the amuse r1 front bumper. Those are clean.

 Muchas Gracias,,,Great feedback to date, back of my mind says No also, I have seen a few S2k's around with kits and they look fantastic, probably people of this board in Sydney. I dont want the boy racer appeal as I am an old bastard, and don't want to ruin the beast, just enhance it as it is a hobby as well as a ride, I will check out jonni3e's suggestions, but any other feedback on suppliers, fitters, and body kits etc in Sydney would be greatly appreciated, sorry guys I am a novice at this, just found the board and lovin it, and lovin my S2000, although not in the biblical sense, ha ha

Easiest way to do this in my experience is to find a full kit/lip kit that you like and then find the installer/painter. Browse through some of the image galleries that are around and check out places like honda-tech.com (in the appearance section) for kits. Also have a browse through some of the Japanese (and other manufacturers) aftermarket websites (such as c-west, veilside etc) and speak with some of the forum traders.

Once you have found a kit you like you need to decide if you want a replica (if they exist) or real product and then look for shops that can fit and paint the kit.

Shoot me a PM if you have any more questions as I am happy to help.

I think this guys is onto something! :D I like the AP2 front, but I love the Amuse R1 front, so much so that I even ordered one after having the AP2 front for a year!

Rolled, you ordered the amuse r1 bumper for your NFR s2000? Its hands down, the hottest front end for the s2000. Great choice buddy.
