Hi guys,

I just wanted to know if running lower boost will save up your fuel?

Example if the car is tuned to run to 10 psi
and only run the car on 7 psi not setting to 10 psi

would it better in terms of fuel consumption. or it would be useless cause the car is tune with AFR that goes for 10 psi

Ie piggy back not a standalone

Thanks in advance

just keep out of boost and off the throttle too much and it won't matter how much boost its maxed out to.

throttle control is ur friend
if ur light on teh throttle boost actually kicks in alot later

exactly.

Boost will only come in when theres lots of load on the engine. Learn to drive light throttle and you'll be ok.

put a block of wood under ur accelerator, that will save u some fuel

You should just leave the boost level it was tuned at. Like Jason said, just be light on the throttle.

It will be more fuel efficient as at less boost the ecu will dump less fuel. Wont be really noticable though.
3psi shouldn't hurt it as a ecu can normally adjust to small boost fluctuations.

if he doesnt put his foot down, no boost. simple
