I'm interested in obtaining a set from the US (As Tein JP don't make them). Just want to know if any 7th Gen owners have purchased a set and whether there were any fitting problems.

Cheers

How much are they and what is the difference between these and Tein SS?

No camber and damping adjustment maybe?

$675 + $200US shipped.

They aren't damper adjustable, only height.

It's close to $1,100 for these. I'd explore other options that have damping control too. Tein SS and D2 could suit. They'd only be $300 roughly more and they have damping adjustment. There are some guys here with D2 coilovers that seem happy. I have Tein Flex in my car but they're over 2k.

I'll see what I can find around the place.

Yeah I was either going to go the Basics or SS. SS is $1300AUS shipped. I'm just weary because TEIN JP don't make any coilovers for my model, so just hoping another 7th gen owner would be able to tell me they've done the same thing and all is good

I used to have an ES civic and used Tein superstreet from japan on the car. I got the SS coilover which is meant for the EP3, and it's straight bolt on to the ES civic.

When you decide to go for a Tein SS for your ES, you would need to get a new DC5r Ball Joint for the front coils to be fitted.

^^^^ yes to the DC5 ball joint
but tein aint that good as they r 2 soft ( for me anyways)
go for Buddy Club ftw if ur willing to fork out more $$$
but tein will be good for street use

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Are any of you able to give confirm with me part # for the Tein SS or Basics. I wanna make sure I have the right one before I place an order overseas.

Cheers

I do not think there is a part number. But i can sure it is called the 01+ DC5 or EP3 TEIN SS (EDFC Compaible), around $1800 deliveried in Australia, not sure the price if you buy in overseas.. And make you sure got the DC5 balljoint before you install your coilcovers, coz if not, you will not able to do the wheel alignment after the coilcovers has installed.
