EG / EK Sedans

I'm currently looking into a new project car and have decided that it will be either an EG or EK sedan with either a H22a or a K20a swap. At present I'm leaning towards an EK for something different.

Firstly... can someone run me through the differences between the series 1 EK and series 2 GLi's (cosmetically and mechanically). I know the headlights are different between series 1 and 2 and thats about it. (Please post pic's if possible).

Secondly... what are the curb weights on a EG sedan, EK series 1 sedan, and a EK series 2 sedan?

lastly... Pro's and con's between doing the above mentioned engine conversion to an EK over an EG.
