Wind Splitter On A Euro??? Opinions.

hey all....as some of you know in the gallery forums, my euro is going back in the workshop next week for my front bar getting custom. i was thinking of adding on wind splitter to give it a race affect and also something different on a euro.

would like to know all your opinion? yay or nay?

for those who dont know, its the metal piece underneath the front bar with two poles connected.

All those images are of cars that are raced orientated.

Your Euro is styled along VIP lines so no.

Adding more accessories/detail does not neccessarily mean better sometimes.

I have a set of those little canards in my closet, that are universal and I bought for a celica that i used to have. have often thought about how they would look on my car, might have to test fit them to see how they look?

Depending on how low your car is, most splitters are just really good at scraping on driveways (not an issue on a racecar), so if you're mainly doing it for cosmetic reasons, I wouldn't bother.

When I had my Magna, I was really interested in the Ralliart Magna -- which had a detachable splitter. Every review complained about the splitter scraping and advised people to take them off, and I think that every one I've seen on the road has removed it.

Stock Euro has extremely good aerodynamics as it is.

as far as I know splitters are only useful for high speed, to keep your car on the ground and not floating. So unless you track your car, it won't be any use to you.

but if it's for the look only, hell, why not :D

Aren't they illegal for reasons that it will cause injury to pedestrians? Someone know of the legality?
