Hey guys

Just recently purchased my civic,hopefully il get some pics up soon :). Just wanted to know how much does it generally cost to to change the tuning belt, a/c belt, ps belt etc.....nearing 100k's....nweyz let us know us kno

Timing Belt ?? or tuning belt ???

a major service included, Timing belt, driving belt, spark plugs, oil, oil filter and air filter. cost about $400 and Water pump and tensioner and Cam&Crank seals for extra $250.

All price are just estimate. please check with your workshop.

Do u have to change water pump as well?? im buying a civic sedan 96 gli..and its done 110000..and in the inspection rac report says..monitor fuel line? is that means the fuel pump needs to be changed?

Yeh i meant timing belt.....sorri was in a rush lol.....was reading something on tuning lol.....thanks yeh jus wanted a rough idea.....still gotta go get quotes....didnt knoe they do it with servicing though......nweyz about the water pump......its optional although you should get it checked out if you got problems.....

no you dont have to change the water pump

I inspect them and if they look/feal sus then I replace them.

a honda water pump that has always had honda coolant that has been flushed at its regular service intervals can do alot more than 100000kms
