Hi there,
I am currently researching on suspension modifications to a vtir integra and would like to know peoples opinions on whiteline products for hondas, mainly the rear strut brace and sway bar compared to a japanese brand such as cusco.
Cheers
Go for OEM Integra Type R rear sway bar.
For rear strut bar, cusco or any Jap brand will do.

For me I chose JDM ITR 98 spec 23mm rear sway bar, AUDM ITR 24mm front sway bar, and ITR front strut brace.
I'd like to go Spoon front and rear strut braces tho.

I've got oem type r too. A lot of people are using whiteline, there are sometimes comments about noise, but I think you will find most people using them on the forums are happy.

Thanks for the input, is there any difference between ITR front strut brace vs the stock vtir? It looks a bit more solid also do you have to get top and bottom camber adjustment if lowering?? I am new to double wishbone suspension, its doing my head in :p

yes it is more solid the ITR one. You are referring to strut bars and not swaybars aren't you? because the ITR and vtir front swaybars are the same thickness, just the rear is different.
as for camber adjustment, if you running larger rims, with your suspension lowered you may have a bit of negative camber. Just get it checked when you have a wheel allignment.

And no. You don't need top and bottom. Front is usually an adjustable upper control arm, ball joint or anchor bolts. Rear ranges from using some washers where the upper control arm mounts to adjustable upper control arms. You can also get some lower control arm products for the rear to adjust camber but you shouldn't need both.

Thanks for the info guys, now I just have to find the components, want to do it the right way the first time. One last point, doe the ITR rear swaybar mount directly in with no modification to mounting points etc on the vtir?

your Integra should have a mounting point for the rear sway bar. no modifications required.

no it doesn't mount directly because the mounting points are wider on the ITR.
See my post on this thread, it has all the information you need:

plus to fit a rear sway bar thicker than about 18mm you'll wanna get a subframe reinforcement kit to avoid nasty tear outs.

Are you likely to incur tear outs on just daily driving and the occasional mountain run? I'm planning on going 22mm rear without a reinforcement kit.

i dont think you can fit a 22mm swaybr WITHOUT reinforcement.
For example , a ITR rear swaybar cannot fit a EG/DC because the rear subframe is slightly different...you need to use a ASR / BEAKS reinforcement kit.
A reinforcement kit is piece of mind.

So your saying that there is no way a ITR swaybar fits on another model integra eg my vtir??? Is there any alternative to the ASR brace?? Surely a whiteline swaybar would fit and be thicker??

Sorry , it was a short answer of NO.
You cant fit any 22mm swaybar to a DC or EG without reinforcement. There isnt such a kit or replaceable bushes to do so.
So , you use a reinforcement kit.
This would include either
OEM DC2R 22/23mm swaybar with ASR/BEAKS kit
WHITELINE 20/22mm adjustable swaybar with whiteline mounting
There is a few other brands out there ( cusco etc) that do replacement swaybars too

ben is right on the money here, and reinforcements are good peace of mind.
Can I ask what year VTi-R you have? coz 98+ has thicker subframe and various other chassis rigidity changes identical to Type R frame, however you still need a kit to use the ITR sway bar.

you would wanna get either an ASR or Beaks reinforcement kit for sure.
