depends on the condition of ur shocks really... some may last a year or more... some may bail in a month or so... highly recommended that u change ur shocks when changing ur springs though.

minimal drop in heigh eg. kings lows wont haf as bad effect on shocks
nething lower will prety much kill shocks quite quickly

i drove wif shoddy shocks for a while didnt bother me, jus get s abit ruff rydah styles

it really depends on how how old your stock shocks are and how low u drop your car .. the more u drop it the more wear and tear it will add to your shocks ..

i got quote 480 for kyb shockers is that worth it?
and i got quote from pedders 1000 something for heavy duty1's, and without installation 700. pedders must be dreaming.
and 500 for monroe shocks at autobarn.

i had kings super low on stock shocks for about 2 yrs. didn't really notice much change but when i was going fast on the track i noticed it felt bouncy? once i changed to koni shocks this bounce was minimised alot.

I jus recently lowered my car on kings.....also put in some adjustable Koni shocks (u payer a higher prices but u can adjust the dampening)....its worth it....n plus Koni's are good with King Springs

Well i got them for $400 (installed) but thats jus the front end....u changing both front and rear?.....if ur changing front n rear...ur lookn at around 800....depending on where u go.....like i said....a bit dearer.....but they are good quality shocks.....definetely worth it in my opinion....

Heres a site for the adjustment process.....
