i own a civic coupe 96. will a 215 tire width fit my car (ie. my guards) if i buy 17inch rims.
i plan to get those buddyclubs P1 17x7.5 rims

Also whats the maximum width can i go? 225? :confused:

im not getting much grip or traction from those stock 185 width especially at fast acceleration.

i plan to get 215 back and front

yes 215/45 will fit 17x7.5

maximum width u can go is on those 17x7.5;
225/45 R17
235/45 R17
or 245/45 R17

205 is the largest you should go on a civic. your tires will rub the front suspention during full lock with 215s.

i would be looking at 17x7 if possible. any wider than that and you start having issues.

you might want to get 40 tyre profile. and as above said 205.

ill look into getting 205/40 R17. probably yokohama A.drive R1. which other brand of tires are good for streets if im not looking at spending too much, not over $200 each. i dont intend to track my car.
