For my EG civic, after changing the front two tyres to TOYO T1R and down the wheel alignment last week. there are a few noises come out which were not obvious coz i just fixed one squeeze noise at the rear wheel through the alignment.
1. When i drive slowly, no matter straight or turn off, there is a swquential rolling noise from the wheel, especially the left front wheel, the sound is all right at the day time, but very clear at the night when there was quiet...
2. When i give acceleration or put my foot on the acceleration pedal, the car is going ideal. But if i give up the acceleration and let the car going inertially, there is a rolling sound from like bearing and i can feel the shake in the car, this happened all the time...
Sounds like any big fault? Are they come up to one problem or just different? and what are they...thanks!

it may well be just the tyre noise? its probably just the TOYOs . :)
since u mentioned u had ur allignment done. i dun suspect there shud b any allignment issues. toe-out would give the rolling noise u mentioned when driving slow.
if u suspect there's something to do wth the tyres, try some simple/quick solutions if u hav the time. in good faith of hoping there really isnt any mojor problems.
- check tyre pressure
- check if there's any stones stuck on tyres.
- chuck on another set of wheels (perhaps ur stockies) see if there noises remains?

tyre pressure are fine and no stones stuck on tyres. all the wheel are tight.......possible wheel bearing? or CV's? especially the 2nd noise

cv's make more of a knocking sound...
this noise only came about after the tyre change?!?

I feel again when i was driving today. the 2nd sound
2. When i give acceleration or put my foot on the acceleration pedal, the car is going ideal. But if i give up the acceleration and let the car going inertially, there is a rolling sound from like bearing and i can feel the shake in the car, this happened all the time...is more like a clutch noise.
My clutch is organic heavy duty and everytime when i change the gear and give up the clutch, there is a knocking sound like "DON...." the noise i was mention underneath is more like this all the time when i going without putting my foot on the acceleration.
Clutch drop off? or Gear box? or engine mount.....?

impossible for any internet mechanic ( IE guesser) to tell you 100% what your probem is , just from a noise description. If you are worried take it to a professional and get it checked out ASAP

i trust you guys alot more than mechanics do. of course a mechanic has the advantage of being there too see the car but if anyone can still give me a few things to look out for or inspect then its much much appreciated!
I been to many mechanics b4 and sometimes they just waste time and make money from it....after fix, the problem is still there. can be checked in Honda?

tell us , did these noises happen AFTER you got the wheel alignment ?
Sounds like wheel nuts loose / toe adjuster bolts arent tight etc.

It seems like happened after the wheel alignment and tyre changing. I checked the wheel nuts...it's tight, but dont know the other thing.
But when i first time driven after the alignment, it's perfect....but unlucky, one day i back to home, the left front tyre was getting flat and the insert valve on the wheel is leaking, get fixed the day after.
And the sound came out fobviously a few days after i think

I hope u didnt overtighten them.
Take the car back to the alignment shop and ask for a solution to your problem.
Try to get the shop owner or boss to jump in your car and hear/feel the problem them self too.
good luck

Sounds like bearings - my mate has let his bearings go so bad that it sounds like a truck!

thanks u guys...wheel bearing is not a cheap stuff to replace, in my past experiences....they are looking for more than 500 bux for front 2 wheels....

Hi guys... sorry to hijack the thread...since I'm gonna ask a simple allignment question I didn't want to open a new thread.
My car drifts to the left and i have to pull my steering wheel to the right quite heavily. I've sent my car to Honda service center (New World Honda in Berwick and G&WSmith) 3 times, the problem has not been solved. Checked whether the previous had hit the gutter etc... so the dudes did all the checks but everything seems fine.
My final solution will be to sent to a tyre specialist (beaurepairs) to do realign it. However, my tyre has been running for 4 years already, 'specialist' says it has bout 30% more to go... so is it better if I:
1) Get it done now
2) Wait till i get a new set of wheels... then only do an allignment job
Wanted to get a new set of wheels and rims, but if realignment cannot solve the drift problem... i won't waste my money on them then.
Plz advise thanks.
