I was wondering what would be the appropriate size to lower the DC2-R on stockies, before it starts to affect handling and problems with humps.

adjusting any height would affect the handling. Weather it be good or not it depends on the suspension.

But bare in mind when lowering a car you get issues like camber wear and stock shock not lasting long.

ive got mine on kings superlows in the back and lows in the front, and can definitely vouch for the absolutely shittiness of Kings... good to begin with but rubbish after 6 months... sloppy and have sagged, but it sits nice, and its levelled out.

it depends what you want from the car, if iw ere to go back i'd get different springs, or save for coilovers... but thats my next mod anyways

I dont wanna lower the car too much, that it has to shorten its shocks life.

Just enough so it wouldnt hit high up, and enough to not have troubles with its steering and taking corners as the type-R should.

So 2 inch is the drop I need to make without affecting it?

I dont really have a set budget atm for it;
Just looking how low and the problems of lowering the car has.
