Battery wire no current!!!!!

ok the yellow wire with is the battery from the loom off the car(05 civic) has no current going through it. i use the light thingy to check is there is any power coming through it but there isnt any. i have power through constand and earth bu nothing through the batt. any ideas?

ps it was working prior to yanking out the stock deck.

Yellow wire? Yellow wires are usually reserved for airbags. Are you sure you are using the right wire?

it doesn't sound like it is the +ve power line. If it is for your headunit get the loom and test every individual wire when the car is off. Make sure you use a common ground like your door hinge. If you have a light tester with a pointy end you can stab the wire in order to get a connection.

on the 05 civic, YEL/RED is the acc wire which gives +12v on acc key position. The constant +12v is the WHT/RED wire.. hope this helps
