Given the hype, most testers were disappointed by the Type R. It wasn’t as quick as we were expecting and its peaky engine wasn’t as driveable as the others in the group. But, as Honda says, its customers prefer it this way.

I'm still yet to read a favourable review. So far, Autosalon's (this month) review isn't too bad and basically says, it's a daily commuters car with a bit more personality/power and a somewhat uncomfortable ride.
