Guys I been having a problem with my car for the last two weeks, well i think it was the last two weeks could have been more any who...My o2 Sensor has unplugged itself probably due to the cable being to short...but this time the wires have unclipped themselves from the plug...Heres some pictures which will show you.

This is the exhaust side of the o2 Sensor...

The ECU side of the sensor is where the wires have come off this plug...

I can easily clip these wires back onto the plug but now theres Four colours which i wouldnt have a clue go where. On the Exhaust side of the Plug theres Two black wires, one red, and one white. On the ECU side of the plug theres Yellowy+ black stripe, Redish+ black stripe, and two other full colours without stripes....

Can anyways help me plug these wires back onto this Plug?

im pretty sure o2 signal wire should send out 5v max and heater power im not sure im asuming it 12v to heat up the o2 sensor in a short period of time.
when you find out which wires go were, extend the wiring

the o2 puts out .9v max,

the heater get powered for as long as the engine is running.

Yeh i went through a good read of that before i posted this up...its decent for o2 sensor help but doesn't help me find what cable goes in which spot of the Plug. If in the picture/diagram the numbers had corresponding colors it would be straight forward

basically like i dont know which wire goes in where on that plug...i could check voltages n stuff but it wont help me put those wires back in. Pretty much if someone has a b16a2 or OBDI o2 sensor with the four wires on the Primary not Two, they could pull back the black rap thats over the wires on the ECU side of the wires and check which color goes with which number on that Picture/Diagram in the Thread above.

the above pic is as if your looking at the back of the car's harness where the wires go in. not the sensor itself

this is from a type r

once you have sused it out, you need to extend the o2 wires so it doesnt happen again.

another way to get some extra slack is not to clip the harness connecotr to the inlet manifold support bracket.

OK....

I plugged in the wires and the car is running much better but i dont know if i was 100% correct in plugging the wires in because number 2 wire was green/white not green and black and number 4 wire wasnt black/white it was red/black. Car is running better tho so i may have winged it. but i would like to check to make sure so if anyone could help that would be great.

if you can drive the car for more than 10 min and not get code 1 or 41 in the ecu you have winged it.

I have POWER FC? will i still get those code errors

and i dunno how long i was driving without the o2 sensor :( car feels much better now tho...before it was sluggish on warm up...needed the car to be above 70degree water temp before u could even put the foot down.

clear the fault codes from your ecu and try again

nfi

but you have to clear the error of the sensor and heater being missing if its reported it.

otherwise dont worry about it

I'll check up on it but i did think the power fc reports it.
