Hi, I just wanted to ask what exactly is a side sill garnish, only the vti-s has them. I bought my vti-s thinking it was the side step garnish but I do not have one.

What is side sill? is it the side skirts?

I feel a bit ripped off..

There is clearly a tick on the side sill garnish. I called up my dealer and he said no, YOu must have gone to an american site. So I double checked with the website in front of me called him a second time and hes like, "ok I will call u back once I checked up on it" I ddint receive a call back.

Also, I bought my car last week, paid on thursday, and was not told about any free comprehesnive insurance. The first i heard about it was when i went to look at the website!!! The website clearly states that its avail till the 9th of september. WTF!

Also I wasnt able to make it the time the contract was made so somebody went for me, I asked them if i was about to choose my wheels, (on the fone) he said no, there is only 1 set of wheels available for the vti-s which is "the" 15" ones. So I i went off thinking must be the twin spoke ones, when i got my car its was anything but twin spokes. I do now realise the twin spokes are an "accessory". Shoulda just went vti.... and just get the body kit. though u are not allowed to get 15" wheels on the vti?? gimmick...

I wonder why we pay extra 2k for vti-s, a body kit? and a leather steering wheel? The alloy wheels look no different to the stock steel wheels on the vti... just they are an inch bigger.

Not happy, Plus i hate the way they decide to brand your car with their labels... wasted 2 mins of my life removing them.

The bastard said it refers to the Side skirts. Also, I bought my car on the 27th august, all jazzes bought after 1st of sept till the 9th get free 1 year comprehensive insurance.I changed the contract on the 4th I paid for the car on the 8th. Not 1 mention of insurance... Though this is not entirely their fault but wtf, at least tell me about the free insurance offer... I woulda just cancel my contract lose the deposit and get the free insurance...

I bought this form Honda NORTH in perth. Im gonna get anti dealer stickers and tick it on my car when i get it serviced. wat is the point of a 1000km service anyway.

they did not 'rip you off'. you didnt even go there in person to clarify what parts/accessories you want.
if you didnt get your insurance when you should have then MENTION IT TO THEM. you will get nowhere having an annonymous whinge on an internet forum the dealer will most likely never read

You think I havent "Just mentioned" it to them?

I did not go in person as I assumed all "stock" vti-s are the same. It's like selling the vti-s with 14" hubcaps and saying I shoulda came in person. VTI-S comes with "side sill garnish" stock. Why would I have to go in person and verify they dont forget to put it on. I have argued many times and of course after u have paid, there is not much they will do.

My orginal post was to verify what "side sill garnish" is.

My subsequent posts were to outline their misleading way they do things and my feelings after i bought the car.

Regarding the insurance, yes I did make the contract a couple of days before the offer of free insurance. I signed a new during the offer period (wanted to add mattes and remove a few accessories). But they are smart becuase they went through both contracts to make sure everydetail was the same as the previous contract including the date. At the time I didnt know about the offer so the date was no issue, but obviously they did and didnt tell me. When I paid for the car which was still in the ofer period they go to me "so have u got insurance yet? thats the most important thing". What sly bastards.

I am not expecting free insurance, but if they told me I woulda just forfeited my deposit. Insurance is 1000 thats why im so pissed. Pretty sure I can get the same price with the "free" insurance. Nothing I can do, signed the piece of paper with the date on it already. Sold my soul to the devil.

Bahahaha, guess you should read a little closer before you buy then aye? :p Put it this way mate, if the Dealers can somehow "fail" to mention about offers or deals going on, then they make money. If you know all there is to know then ask them about it, they can't pretend now can they? hehehe

lol join the anti-honda north club... they sucked me in to, they are a**holes... no point in pursuing anything, they just dont give a s**t once you've signed on the dotted line...
