what engine can fit in my friends eg

he has a vti atm but he is thinking of a conversion, what engine can be fitted?

b16?

any suggestions *he doesnt want k20*

yes b16a will fit no problems :thumbsup:

or u can get b18c or u can also go extreme with a b20 block which is from a crv and get either a b18c head or b16a head these will also fit ..

if a chevvy motor can fit in a civic then theres no reason why any honda engine can;t lol.

like EG6 has b16a standard

as Jamezy said go a b16 or b18. You can get a b16a from civic vtir or jdm civic sir models, b16b (harder to source from the civic type r or b18c2 from teg vtir (125kw) or the b18c5 - 7 from integra type r

I would try to chuck a twin turbo Supra engine in it, or if you want a vtec engine chuck in a NSX engine wooohooo!

Either b16a or B18c.

I've drvien a stock K20a EG and sorry there not all impressive. For 10-12k not worth the money.

As spunky monkey said, B16a2(civic vti-r) are a good transplant with 118kW aswell as the B16a(civic sir) with 125kW buh id personally go for a B18c7(teg type r) with 141kW. Depends on goals and budget that ur friend has...
