Hi i was told that the ek series has the CO sensor located in the stock cat, thus if u replace with a aftermarket cat or test pipe, the engine check light would come on. Is this true? Is there any ways to counter this problem?

you mean O2 sensor ? If there ever was a problem you simply tap in the O2 sensor in the same place and no problem whatsoever.

dont pollute the air and kill the kids for an extra .01kw.. just get a high flow

^^ Yeah. For the street, get a metal cat. If you go test pipe and drive on the street, I'll dob you in personally. :p
