Just picked up my engine package :D ,but unsure if i have an lsd gearbox or not,i can see the block number, but i canot find the gearbox code? wheres it located?
Dont know about the H series motors but for the B series motors there is usually an [acronym:1b5c8281c0="Limited Slip Differential"]LSD[/acronym:1b5c8281c0] stamp on the upper surface of the bellhousing. If not look through the hole where the driveshafts go, if you can see straight through you have an [acronym:1b5c8281c0="Limited Slip Differential"]LSD[/acronym:1b5c8281c0], if there is a shaft in the centre you dont.
any pic of any kind to complement your comment :)

okay, take a look on the sticker on the side of the gear box near the clutch slave cylinder , there will be a barcode and some numbers etc. An [acronym:8b7452c592="Limited Slip Differential"]LSD[/acronym:8b7452c592] h22a 5 speed box will ALWAYS have M2B4- as the 1st 4 numbers/ letters, if it doesnt its not an [acronym:8b7452c592="Limited Slip Differential"]LSD[/acronym:8b7452c592]

www.howstuffworks.com or do a search on these forums
for want of a better way of putting [acronym:1aaba9b67c="Limited Slip Differential"]LSD[/acronym:1aaba9b67c] = more traction. if you want more in depth knowledge as mr h22a accord suggests, you should start searching.
