View Full Version : 100% Octane V-power racing fuel for JDM TEGGY!
Hey guys,
I know this topic has been raised a few times now, I've read most of them but didnt find much info on the jdm dc2rs. Just curious if the JDM dc2r ecu was tuned for 100% octane? My understanding is that Japans fuel octane is about 102% or 103%. If someone could give me a conclusion to this i would much appreciate =)
cheers

Its not a percentage.....
Look up RON.... then for good measure read up MON.
BTW.... the japanese fuel is usually 100RON straight.
Your V-Power racing from shell acheives this by dumping ethanol into the mixture to raise it to 100 from their 98 V-Power.

oh ok thanx for that, so does that mean its bad to run the V-power racing fuel in my dc2r? i've just been using the V-power. Might just go back to using ultimate. =)

People's opinions vary....
FWIW... I would stick with Ultimate or V-Power etc.... 98RON fuels with no ethanol and no adding crap from bottles like octane booster or anything.

Ive been using it on my teg for about a year now and havent had a problem. Before putting it in i checked with my mechanic and a tuner who himself has two integras who said there would be no problems running it, as they use it themself.

V-power is fine... it has no ethanol.. it only 98Oct
V-Power Racing.. has 10% ethanol or somen.. dont use it.. B-Series not meant 2 run on ethanol...
so yer, stick with v-power.. its fine :)
good luck ;)
