How much does a stock EK Sedan bonnet weigh?

i haf an ek4...they should b the same bonnet...
if i can remember correctly....the weight of my bonnet is approx 14kg

i have one lying around somewhere, all ek bonnets are the same hatch coupe or sedan anyway if im not mistaken mine weighed in at around 12 kg somewhere around there with all that rubber seal and shit which im not sure weighs much, and just to help a cf bonnet i weighed it out probably reduces the weight by around 5-6 kg? thats it :( dammmm 900 bux for 5-6kg lol

If i remember correctly, its 16kg.
Theres an article on the net somwhere reguarding ek civic weight reduction, where a guy weighs up all the parts that can be stripped from the car, including the stock bonnet. Ill try and find it for you.

Hmmm cant seem to find it, found this in a random corner of the internet though lol -

Yeah not worth the cf bonnet for weight reduction unless you really want/need it...
Plus the hassle of getting it approved (safety wise).If you don't you risk a $250 fine and the loss of 1 point.
And I'm sure people will agree the stock bonnet makes the car look more clean anyways.
Rock it stock and spend ya money on the engine :)
