yo yo..

Before:
my coolent used to lie on the min level line in the mornings.. and when i drive it.. it tends to go up to the max line..

Now:
after my service.. i think they put more coolent in for me... now its over the max line in the mornings... so im scared that if i drive it long .. the coolent will rise up till there is no more space and blow up ?

i guess my question is, what is the normal coolent level in the mornings when u left the car undriven over night ?

is it supposed to be on the max line or min line or under/over those lines.. etc ?

and i guess what is the worst thing that can happen if there is too much coolent ?

not sure what car you drive but the tank you are refering to is the overflow/reserve tank most over flow tanks have a tube on the lid of the overflow tank that in the case the coolant raises to much it will flow out of the tube...

so there really isnt anything to worry about and the coolant level when cold should be towards the max line even if its at the max line it should be ok.

Nothing to worry about. If you are still worried, just pour out a little bit so the level is back on max. When on max when cold, it will be about 1cm above max when hot.

when coolant over flows there is a lil tube that lets it out.. so it is not going 2 blow up...

when i do a service i usually put a bit over the max line.. it want do anything...

hope that has helped :)

so yer dont worry ur safe.. but if u really feel worried just get a sucker thingy and take some out :)

i topped it up
n went for short drive
and few days later i see it drop down a bit??? where did it go?
100% no leaks on the overfill tank itself, nor the radiator itself

it droppd down to near minumm quite quickly???
