Recently I just machined front rotors, replaced rear rotors and put in four new brake pads.

Is it time I replace my master brake cylinder?

Sounds like an mc. Check to see if it is leaking.

sounds like u got a leaking BMC.. so u can either get a repair kit from Honda.. or get a whole new BMC.. depending on how bad it is. this usually happens in summer when its hot weather and the brake lines expand easily..

I don't think there is a leak. How much am I looking at to repair/replace the BMC?

sorry about that.. what i meant by a leak was an internal one in the BMC
heres a link to a DIY that might help http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34893&highlight=brake+master+cylinder
a repair kit would cost a little more than $100 but a new BMC could cost around $300-400

try something simple like re-bleeding your brakes. search the forums on a DIY on how to bleed brakes. wynode has written an article under the DIY section of this forum. if there is air in your brake system, brake pedal can sink to the floor and not mcuh braking happening

if it still happens after youve bled the brakes, then try MC and booster.

brake master cylinders cost 250 from wreckers.

2x for bleeding the breaks. try that before putting any money out to fix things.

sometimes after you replace rotors and pads you will not get the braking efficiency you original had, try bedding them in.
If your pedal sinks almost to the floor then it's air or your m.c has had it, either way it's a simple diagnosis, lift the bonnet and check the booster for sign of brake fluid leakage.

er, somtimes it doesn't leak outside, it can leak inside, through the seals.
