Its the 'N1' spec I think? Like what Z10 said, its a lighter weight version of the CTR for track.

are you trying to find out if the ek9 front bumper of 98specs looks like the 99specs?

if thats the question -> no:)

interestingly enough, the power windows module are lighter than manual winders! (well that is what MRT said when they were building their Rally civic anyway)

hey, is that Civic Type R's site? Cos there's an error in "Standard Features"... wheels are 15" and no HID (ooh i wish :) )

anyways, just thought i'd add... the facelift model came along same time as the other facelifted civic models. i think power everything/airbags were standard apart from the racing specs. check this site out, has very good jdm model specs and history... http://www.j-garage.com/1310.htm

yeah Vinh in fact you are right -> *good eye there*.... i wasn't reading when i hijacked the CTR pix...now that i have a read of the standard features...i think the whole standard features for the CTR belongs to the 98specs ITR.

nonetheless, on top of those that you have corrected -> the highlighted are the incorrect infos

Adjustable Steering Wheel, 16" Alloy Wheels, Central Locking, Momo Steering Wheel, Power Windows, HID Headlights, Rear Spoiler, Recaros, Build ID number in centre console (98+ onwards)

anyway i suppose Adam will see it soon to correct

Kool thanz dude, Just another question sorry if im being a pain asking too much question, has anyone on this forum u know try to change their EK1 & EK4 to EK9 ctr meaing interior and exterior wise and engine of course.

I'm kind of quarter the way there doing similiar looks wise at the moment.

Hehe, i just realised that too after seeing the highlighted bits... the centre console Build ID gave it away :)

Perry, i think "Civic Type R" has done quite a few mods in his EK9 clone, hehe... can't remember exactly but i think he has some EK9 interior stuff as well as the usual body mods... except he has a Mugen kit... hmmm, contradicting myself there. i think "eknine" has too... rite? but i can't remember if i've seen you car Roy???

Anyways, if u really wanna c sum serious 'conversions', check out the US Honda forums... they're seriously into their jdm and ek9 stuff so plenty of references there.

Yes i am trying to update it but my pc is chucking spacs at me and keeps losing data. When i fix the problem, i will update those obvious errors.

Also, there are 3 versions of the EK Civic Type R.
Option 1. no power windows, no power options, no [acronym:c3d9dce3ac="Anti-lock Brake System"]ABS[/acronym:c3d9dce3ac], SRS. 1059kg
Option 2 power options, [acronym:c3d9dce3ac="Anti-lock Brake System"]ABS[/acronym:c3d9dce3ac] SRS. 1099kg
Option 3 Type Rx. Option 2 + better sounds system, retractable mirrors, alum foot pedals, keyless entry, double din stereo housing.

does anyone know of where i can get the interiors for the ctr

you might wish to custom or if you are looking for oem, you did be better asking how much you gonna spend first:)

they don't come by easily and they come at a very dear rates as well:)

infact i was just talking to genesis abt the red floor carpets the other day and they were at an all time high of abt USD$285 exec shipping of course:)

eknine
02-08-2004, 01:14 PM
anyhow if you are looking to change...u be looking at

1) red floor carpet
2) 5 piece floormats
3) hand brake cover
4) steering wheel
5) door armrest (the pix that ek9 show you, you can't just buy the red armrest, you have to get the whole thing)
6) the a/c panel (i do know i have one for sale)
7) cluster
8 ) shift boot
9) gear knob
10) recaros
11) rear seats

you'd need to change more if your interior is grey
1) the shift boot console
2) door sills covering
3) gees what ever is grey you need to replace...too much to mention:(

i'm sure the others will pipe in what i have missed:)

yup your Mechanic can fit almost anything....and then comes the price tag of course. :D

well the navigator is cool, but that also means that he's probably running the jap's maps -> that unless, he uses the CD from some of the local cars with nav-controls :)

if ur pocket is deep anything is possible..coz australia is home to the custom builders
