i''m gonna get genie full stainless steel exhaust system + a high flow cat. 2" piping + 4-2-1 extractor.
My car is 96 civic cxi (D16Y4 [acronym:126d6b9464="Single Overhead Cam"]SOHC[/acronym:126d6b9464] 1.6L non vtec).
I wanna hear ur opinions about Genie exhaust/extractor
Also after i fit the new exhaust system, do i need to reprogram my computer chip?

hey dude..how much is the whole system gonna cost ya and from where ?

u dun really need a reprogrammed ecu..better off to do alittle more mods...then buy like a piggy back ecu to tune it up later on

If you have a stock computer just dissconect the battery for like 30 min (best do that when they are doing the exhaust work) to reset it.

no need to disconect the battery to reset your ecu , just take the the [acronym:9a302bdf76="Engine Control Unit"]ECU[/acronym:9a302bdf76] fuse off and put it back.

where r u located? I'm in perth. There's a genie dealer here down in myaree. They do excellent job on exhaust system. They also have dyno machine. Even xspeed (largest jap performance parts importer recommend it.
I'm guess the whole system, 2" pipe, extractor, high flow cat all stainlees steel would cost < $1500 fitted.

Yea, when i got enough money, i'll also go for unichip. Guy from team ground zero highly recommend it. The improvement is massive he said.

...to make ur car run liek crap for a day ofcourse as the [acronym:cfc5f83351="Engine Control Unit"]ECU[/acronym:cfc5f83351] re-adjusts !!! lol.....

BTW resetting ur [acronym:cfc5f83351="Engine Control Unit"]ECU[/acronym:cfc5f83351] is only for diagnosis and similar....it dosent "self adjust 10hp" if u do it for no reason......
