my dual carby engine has had its days now its time for something new.
i want to go b18 but because i dont have efi in my car, so i just wanted to ask if i bought a half cut integra would it be just basically replacing all the eg engine parts with the half cut parts and just installing in the ecu that came with the half cut then later on do a conversion on the rear brakes, fuel tank and fuel rails? without any other mods?
also to change the dash is just like plug and play sort of thing where i just replace the eg dash with integra dash with no other mods?
im asking these question because i wanna make sure i got my inquires right before i go ahead with anything.

by the way if anyones done a conversion on their eg civic in victoria with a b18c conversion, does anyone know how much it would cost for an engineers certificate? and if so did anyone have any issues with registering the car at vicroads or getting insurance at all?

im doin b16 into my dual carb eg at the moment. the whole interior wiring loom behind the dash must be replaced with the efi one,and trust me its more work than it seems at the start but its not tooooo hard if you have even a lil knowledge of car electrics.
If you want to put the whole actual integra dash in the civic, not just a wiring loom, your looking at a whole different story, takes some modification to get the dash to fit,i remember seeing a thread on honda-tech.com bout it

would you know what sort of mods are needed? is it like major work to get it in fitted or just some minor adjustments?

for the dash off the top of my head theres some cutting of the dash because its larger and you have to fabricate brackets to secure it in there....check out honda-tech im pretty sure its there, the site is closed for maintenance now but will be back up in a day or so i suppose....try this link when its back online,it could be a winner
