EK alarm

I just took battery out, doing some wiring stuff, but i always shit myself putting it back in, cos the second it touched the alarm goes off, and its so loud, especially in a garage made of tiles, when my head under the hood.

Is there any way to make it quieter, because i also hate when i lock and open my car and all these loud pain in the ass beep sounds it makes.

or do wat i did i just ripped the shit outta the wires lmao. thats coz i didnt have the key or anything. =( but it was okay coz the siren was like piss weak. sounded like a squeal lol

Umm yea my remote has 2 buttons but i just cant work out what second button is for. When i press it nothing ever happens, and sometimes when i press it it sets alarm off for 2 seconds then stops.

where is the siren ?
And can i still turn the siren off with the key, if the battery is out ? (im guessing no)

Lol please do, iuno where the hell the noise comes from. Every time i hear it i jump (often because it happens when i dont expect it)

Thats what it looks like =) something similiar to that =)

depends on the alarm itself usually. some have seperate buttons for lock and unlock.
others are to disable the immobilizer. Or you could use it in together with the first button to have a silent lock n unlock.

well really depends on the alarm. =)

mine is used to perform the silent unlock n lock. =)

i have friends with 2 buttons which one button is just for lock n the other unlock. etc

but yeah look for something that looks like that. or let ur alarm go off n try to find where its coming from

Ahh found it. Mine different. Mine looks like a huge ass siren, its facing down, but rougly same location. and its REALLY loud.... (dunno if yours is loud)

Do i just press once, or hold it for a sec, to make it silent alarm noises? + i cant silence mine, theres this thing over it, so i cant get to it (like a piece of metal holding wires in place) so i cant even put a rag in it :thumbdwn:

Hmm it doesnt seem to work.

When i press the second button, it just makes the next click silent, then siren is back on and its absolutely pissing me off.
