B16 top end

I own a 94 gli sedan, and my friend told me that its possible to chuck the top end from a B16 into the D15. It doesnt sound right to me, is he confused with something else? If possible, what would be a rough ballpark figure for such a job.

Before you tell me to search i already did, and couldnt find anything
