my current status says Unread 0, Total 10

i only have 4 in there. wHY ? theres no message recipets or anything either..

lol no really, are you talking about the status bar at the top right hand corner? coz the unread counter only counts messages you havnt read yet.

but it says TOTAL:10

its happening to me also, i got 9in my PM but it says 12 in total.

Check to see if you guys have saved any sent PMs.
That counts to your total as well.
