it would pobably fit fine without any mods. i dont think theres much difference between the eg's and eks. unless ur running a D series and the kit is for B series or vice versa which in that case u need to change the manifold. all in all , everything is pretty much the same.

yeh mate i really dont think there would be shit all difference. Unless the computer was a hondata and it was obd specific or somethin.
But in terms of fittment.. piece of cake!

go the 600x145x65, in2.5''/out2.5'' cooler or somthing :D they fit straight on without any fitment issues
yeh they might be giving u a different/better fuel management thats why its more expensive.

I'd guess because most EG are carb and dont require fuel managment uprade, whereas the EK's are injected and do ?

This is because EG are OBD1 and EK are OBD2. Just get a conversion harness.

are most EK's OBD2? lol uh ohhh

hmmm so how much would i be looking at to get the the conversion harness i found a couple for like 90 buks max
You guys are all wrong.
The reason the kits are different prices is because the EK kit comes with a slightly larger turbo and a few extras like 320cc injectors.
The EG kit will fit perfectly, only difference it only has 1 o2 sensor bung, and u need to extend it a little. ECU wise, both run an emange that u need to chop into the std harness for. Both kits will run perfectly on each model.

for simplicity sake i'd get the EK kit, less hassle. but u'll love it better if u got each individual part urself :) might work out cheaper too if u look around at the right places

nah it wont turn out cheaper coz my tune and ecu upgrade alone will be 1900 to go to hondata and have it tuned thats max but a good estimate so ive been told.

$1900 for ECU + TUNE? what?
I thought hondata about $280 + tune about $600 + conversion harness about $250 = $1130
Whats the extra $770?
EDIT :
Um i aint to sure but if yours is a 98 coupe ive been told from james our ecus arent bolt on with hondata. We need to get a replacement one then get hondata so your looking at 900 for replacement ecu and HONDATA.
Just read that in another post from you.... I thought hondata was a whole new ECU, and you get rid of your old ECU ? If thats correct, why do you need replacment ECU then hondata?

some hondata ecus are not compaditable with stock honda ecus like the ej8 this is coming straight from james from hondata.

A new OBD1 ECU should only cost like $150, so +285 Hondata
$435 max
EDIT : 600+ tuning
Conversion harness $190
$1225+ roughly....

Get the EG kit. With the money u save, by;
FMIC + piping
440cc injectors
emanage inginition harness and tuning cable
boost comtroller for 10-12psi.
u dont need hondata. the emanage will run your stock engine as good, and its alot cheaper to tune.
