The more you lower the car, the more bumpy it become since you are compressing the springs as well and make it has less travel, so that's why you'll feel the ride quality getting worse

u shouldnt be compresing the spring on the N+, they have adjustable lower brackets.

Did you do this DIY ?
Which way did you turn the damper setting ? clockwise ? anti clock wise ?

anti clock wise is to soften it up.
clock wise is to stiffen it up.

Dont use the allen key and force it up to turn the damper .

Maybe you have to let the coilovers settle in again?

Bumpy(On street) with N+ is common issue(Monotube designed). No wonder.

^^ It depends on the spring rate. :)

spring rate for the win :D

umm set it to a softer setting.. there is a HUGE difference between hardest n softest... but custom spring rates are sexi too

do tell. Ive reinstalled my own , and they did get alittle better but still "see-saw" wobble all over the shop.

The issue was the spring was not preloaded enough

When I installed my N+. I just wound the spring seat ajuster(preload) up until just touched the Spring, so there was no play. Then adjusted all height, with the bottom bit, I have mine on medium damper settings and there perfect.

before you spout shit information, at least know what the f*ck you are talking about

N+ are not your regular compress the spring to lower your car coilover

relax Mr !

You re right , the reason is Buddy club N+ are dual height adjustable , the upper is to hold teh spring while teh lower perch is to raise and lower the height.
This is to keep the shock piston and spring in the same captive level regardless of ride height. IE NOT reduced shock travel like some other coilovers. (for example TEIN SS)

i personally left the spring adjustment at the height it was set from factory

i heard people play with it and screw the preload on the spring, hence screw aspects of their handling and shock absorption

Unfortunately the preload is hardly ever properly set "from factory" - IE coilovers are handled a few times before you pick em up :)
Best to adjust the upper so the spring is just captive , then apply a few more turns to make sure its held nice n snug. Thats all you should need

then dump the crap out of the lower adjustment :)
