can you guys give me a run down on which gear box can be used with the first generation b16a engines and if it is cable or tranny

All B series blocks have interchangable gearboxes for example b18xx gearbox will bolt onto a B16xx, and there all hydraulic as far as I know

if you are running a cable clutch setup your best bet is to keep it cable as the cable to hydro box conversion will cost you a few $$$
