just wondering how much it will cost to wack a turbo into 94 accord---

does the vtec cause any trouble with the turbo-- will they work together?

what mods need to be done..
and what is the prices appx. for each mod and price for the total turbo modification ( so it actually runs properly etc)

thanksss

well those that havent tried it usually say some bs like "vtec + turbo is shit" or sumfin along those lines.
all those that ive met that have ACTUALLY DONE IT, swear by it.
ask Pete (aka Poid on here). he loves it :D

u'd be lookin at around $9-11k

yeh the vtec + turbo is shit line is a load of bollocks, but its a common misconception especially in this country. Our engines are dead perfect for boost. Low compression, iron sleeves and drop the vtec nice and low to help spool and its great.

I honestly wouldnt wanna drive my car NA ever again, best mod i could have ever done to it

F22B1 luv Boost. they have lower compression than twin cams. you will need
Turbo, Intercooler, plumming, waistgate, blowoff valve. turbo exhaust manifold, larger injectors, 3 bar MAP ( depends how much boost you run ) and EMS. last time I looked Hondata didnt support the POA [acronym:40759b3935="Engine Control Unit"]ECU[/acronym:40759b3935] but you could convert to a P30. Iv seen P30 roms on the web for the F22B1,. all these things add up. like Weq said DIY 2-5K depends how nuts you go.

yeh you can run P30 or P28 very easily, there are a couple of base maps out there and then its just a matter of fine tuning. 2-5k would mean second hand parts for pretty much everything, 9-11k is either DIY with all new parts or a workshop job

its a ok setup, not very flexable though. The manifold is standard a/c compatible.. downpipe is decent at 2.5", although ud prolly wanna be at 3" for a t3/4. intercooler, bov, piping, and and misc parts are good. the fuel system sucks though.

in other words, u dont need half the stuff, the other half u could do better buying individually.

yeh the manifold is fine, the wastegate looks like a deltagate which sucks, the fuel system is crap and most likely the intercooler piping wont be compatible with the accord since its a prelude kit

so how much does the accord kick up to in means of power after wacking one of the turbo kits in?
