problems wif my dc5

hey guys i got a dc5 base model and its doin this thing when i accelerate hard it chokes and holds back then goes again its random doesnt always do it but when it does its from 1st and 2nd..... any1 got any ideas

also any1 know a good honda mechanic in melbourne i can take it to get fixed and can service it major service cumin up soon

auto/manual?

search the forums about mechanics, there are plenty of threads. some people like to take their honda to a dealership to service, other like smaller mechanics like Hanny's in NSW and Ward While Motors in VIC

Have you tried running 95 RON petrol instead to test?

have tried normal and premium petrol i dont think its the petrol

Air filter/ sensor. Clean your air filter and reset your ecu. similar thing hapend to me when i didn't plug my knoc sensor

Yeah, check that the knock sensor is plugging in and probably give the MAP sensor a gentle tap with a screwdriver handle as well.

nah not cold happens when its warmed up

usually only happens when the car is cold.

Sounds like a timing issue. But without experiencing first hand its hard to say.
