Red Book Code HOND00VV

2000 HONDA INTEGRA
Coupe Type R Sport 2dr Man 5sp 1.8i (Sept onwards)

average kms 55,000 - 65,000
trade in price guide* $20,200 - $23,200
national average price - private sale* $22,500 - $26,100
price when new (RRP) $39,990

I found this on redbook.com.au. At the moment I am looking to purchase one. I find that prices varies between 30,000 to 25,000.
How much is a reasonable price to pay for one? I am pretty sure all the dc2r owners here have a fair idea how much there vehicle is worth.

Btw anyone here thinking about selling their's give me a pm. Obviously the price should be between what I found in redbook.com.au

somewhere between 22K and 26K I'd say...

You'll be lucky if you can get a decent looking one for less than 22K

redbook is a bit off, i'd say about 25, better off going to calculate your own average from carsales :D

You never pay the full asking price for the car.

You always need to haggle, haggle haggle!

(not totally directed at the subject, but just a good way to buy a car)

This is the best strategy:
Find the car you want, have a look at it then walk away..
Ask a mate/ family friend to go back and buy it for you. Because they will fight for the best price, and if they don’t get it they will walk out...

Cause if you personally do it you'll get so hooked up in the car and want it that badly u wont necessarily get it for the best price.

A car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Just keep looking around until you find one for a price you are happy with. it took me over 6 months to do so.

also...
dont settle for 2nd best
take the time to search for a car in good condition
and when u really wanna buy it
ask yourself
if i bought this, will i regret it if i saw a another one of the same car

didn't u have a civic vti-r already....anyhow it looks like you are power hungry.

just buy a wrx and problem solved! else a dc2 ITR or even a dc5 ITR will not satisfied you in time to come:)

ITRs are becoming more rare than before I have found. I did quite a bit of research before putting mine on the market (Melbourne based tho), and I found people still asking 27+ for it!!!! Considering that no more ITR, I can see why! :)
I have mine listed at $23900 and I need to sell before 26th of August (taking delivery of new car).

Hey guys, I'm looking to get one as well. :) I've seen a Black '01 model with 44,000kms going for $30k. That's abit dear right? But the '01 and 44,000kms counts for something. :p
