ive got a pioneer headunit DEH-7950UB, and its been fine since i got it .. but just recently, on the SAME day that i thought no use for keeping receipt and threw it out ... the headunits screen, every 30-60secs, itll inverse the colour .. like usually its black bg with white writing, then all of a sudden it will inverse it and itll b white bg and black writing, then itll return bak to normal after a few secs, OR after i push any button on the headunit, like anything, i can just turn volume down or up or wateva and itll go bak to normal then after 30-60 secs itll go again etc etc .. anyone know what could be wrong ? ive tried resettin it and it didnt do anything ..
thanks

if you reset the unit, then it will enable the reverse feature again... all u need to do is disable it by pressing and holding the function button while the unit is off and then browse through the menus for "reverse mode" and turn the damn thing off.. :D
for more detailed info, check page 31 of your user manual...

The headunit is running in "Demo" mode, this basically just runs through the different features/functions of the headunit. The colour inversing you're seeing is the headunits "reverse" function.
- Put the keys in the ignition and switch it over to ACC so that the headunit turns on.
- Now turn the headunit off by holding the SRC (source) button and NOT taking the keys out.
- With the headunit off, push and hold the multicontrol button/rotary (the one you use to change folders and songs). Thi should take you into a menu where you can turn off the Demo as well as reverse mode.
Or you can take a look in the manual for "Initial Settings"

if the reverse function is on all these times and the display wasn't reversing, then your unit is stuffed... :p

ok, then maybe its stuffed, because i went to have a look, and it was on, but i know for a fact all along ive had reverse on, because i turned demo off but left reverse on and it never did that till now, and so now i turn off reverse and it stops, hopefully doesnt start up again..
thanks guys
