View Full Version : Can't edit thread title

Hey guys, i've searched the forums on this but both my Firefox and IE browsers don't allow double clicking in the thread box to edit the title. Is there another way around this? I can edit the title in the advanced post edit area but the thread index still shows the old title.

How long ago was the thread you're trying to edit created? (post a link).

Yeah it looks like there is an edit timeout.

I can edit a recent thread (last week), but cannot edit a thread from last year.

Your thread is too old. Just send a PM to one of the mods of the FS section to help you edit the title. I change it for you now.

Cool, thanks for that aaronng. Didn't want to open up a new thread making it 2 open threads which is against the rules :)

When you want to change the title, just send me a PM with the link and the title you want in your FS thread. I'll change it for you when I come on OZhonda. :)

I am not sure what the current settings are on the time limit for thread title editing. I know others also had problems editing their old FS threads as well.
