powder coating will only get you matt colours like, matt black, white, like the plain pure colours, if you want metallic etc, you havta spray them, from my panel beater i got quote of i think was $20-40 per rim for powder coatin and to about $100 per rim for spraying. You could try call up Oxford Panels pm me for the guys number.

um... i do not think you understand what a matte colour and a glossy colour is.
a matte colour is something that feels rough to the touch.
powder coating feels smooth.

well what i was actually talking towards was, more the plain black colours i seen on some cars, like it looks like the "rough to touch" stuff (even though it is smooth), compared to when u see rims that are nice n smooth coloured, like shiny n stuff .. to be honest i dunno how to explain what i mean by "matt black"... lolz ah weioz point is, if needed i can pm my panel beaters details

ok, well,
matte is when it is rough feeling
glossy is when it is bright and shiny
then you have a flat colour

matt is when it doesnt have a shine, it doesn't always feel rough.
When I used to powder coat rims, they felt smooth like a baby's bottom.
Something being matt is basically something with no shine, like I said, go spray a car acrylic and dont buff it out or anything, off the gun, it will be a matt finish, buff it out, it will lose its matt-appearance and be glossy.
Same with metallic paints and using a clear coat, though metallic paints never appear with that matt appearance, even when it straight off the gun onto primer, always looks wet.

Gloss can be said as a view of material appearance. Materials with smooth surfaces appear glossy, while very rough surfaces reflect no specular light and therefore appear matte
