does anyone have king spring super low on their EG and finding that it is scraping into their chassis? if so is there anyway to over come it. i hav 195/55/r15 as my wheels and it seems to scrape the chassis and when i have 3 passenger it would constantly scrape? any ideas? :D

i run superlows on front and back and dont have a problem
running 195/55/15. (ek4 rims) even with full car load.

could be the offset of you rims or maybe try changing the tyre profile
to 195/50/15 to minimize the scrubbing.

possibly the condition of your shocks too..
if your shocks are dead, you'll find that your car is lower than that of a car with new shocks

^^^ thats most likely ur prob mate. same thing happens to mine, and thats with Low kings. try this first, dont get new shocks first as this wont always fix the problem. get them rolled should cost absolutely no more than 90 each side. i need to get em rolled too lol

under your rear panels there is a lip that protrudes out. run your finer just under the rear wheel arch and u should feel a "lip". it should be covered by plastic or rubber. you can DIY, there is a thread in the DIY section if you look around. but if you dont know what your doin leave it to the panel beater.

how would you find out the off-set of your rim? looks like you runnin pretty high profile man, if it scrapes the inner side of your guard then i most likely is your shocks. your car would be about 14-15 years old, the standard shocks would be well on their way out. thats my opinion though, i could be wrong. anyone correct me if im wrong

uh yeh, wheel size ... 15" x what width? 7, 6 ?

oh btw .. try finding out where its actually hitting, the front or rears ?

how would you find out the off-set of your rim?

look for markings on the actual rim.

if u use original honda rims for 195/55/15 tyres, it will be fine coz the offset is different.(the wheel will sit further in so it wont scrab the guard). if u use after market alloy rims-(e.g offset is 44), u have to use 195/50/15 series in order not to scarb on the guard.

Are you saying it scrapes on the front or rear on the inner side of the wheel. Super lows with rims that are either 7" wide or offset too high will give you that result. My EG sedan with coilovers on lowered as far as it would go was fine in the back with 205-40-17 tyres but on the front would scrape the inside when turning and the outside when turning and hitting bumps at the same time.

Any pics of the ride height?
Heres a snap of mine when it was wound right down.

Best bet is to take it apart reverse engineer your problems

thats takin it abit far though man, im guessin its somethin simple that can be easly fixed. but its not a bad idea if you have tried everything
maybe you should take your car to a suspension specialist so they can pin-point whats up with your car

i think its because of the offset of the wheels because the suspension is just fine. i will get it check
