installing 6X9's on civc eg hatch pacel shelf

im thinking of installin sum 6X9's on my parcel shelf in the civic eg hatch

just wondering if anyone else has done this....

did it fit? and was the shelf strong enough to hold the speakers?

I'm not 100% sure on size... I think only 6" was allowed because of the supports in the back. Correct me if im wrong.

You could always go the option of having the 6x9's boxed and sitting on top of your parcel tray?

fits fine
rattles a bit because parcel shelve is a bit flimsy
u can fix that by putting some board underneath to reinforce it

mine just fit with da covers on. it makes noises because speakers r heavy an when u turn there it go, that bloody noise.
