Hi guys,

Just a quick question. I got pulled over last nite and copped a canary for having my car too low... does anyone know if stock dc5r springs will fit onto my dc2r? my friend has a spare set and i would probably need to change it over to get this cleared

thanks

How about you just get a set of springs that conforms to the legal requirements? I mean, it's all well and good that you can get it off and then slap the lows back on, but you're driving a yellow DC2R - it's not exactally under the radar.

Would any wood suffice or do you recommend a quality hardwood to prevent spring sag? :p

I agree with comments about keeping the car legal. What's the point of having an excessively lowered car anyway? Mine is 10mm over RTA requirements and can be a right pain in car parks. Defect height would be just damn stupid. Especially since these cars already have superb suspension.

How did you lower the car anyway? I assume if you're looking for a set of spring you don't have originals or day I say, you've cut them.
