Dash - Warning Light.

Hey All,

Iv recently purchased an 07' Honda Accord Euro Luxury. Everytime i open a door a little warning alarm sounds from the dash. Does anyone know if this can be disabled ?

Yeah drives me crazy as well.

Quick run outside, you'll flatten your battery...Have you left your headlights on? That's the only dash alarm i know of.

Pretty sure he is referring to the alarm that goes off when you have the key in the ignition and then open the door. That it never stops also drives me crazy ! :(

If it stopped after a short period, say 30 seconds, then that would be OK however it doesn't :thumbdwn:

Mine doesn't do that. Must only be 06/07 models.

yes key in and door open goes ding ding ding continuously.
drives you crazy as you just want to see how everything works from the dash without actually closing the door on it.

I doubt u can disable this function tho.

if you are cleaning the car while listening to music (not adviseable for a long period of time, as it will drain your battery) which is why your left the key in the ignition, turn your ignition to accessories postion this will stop the warning that you have the key in the ignition.

yeah, i find that annoying too, i think it's on all honda's.. well most anyway..
