hey guys, recently got one of those $6 ambi pur freshener things for the car, got it tilted at a wrong angle and some of it went onto the dashboard. Since I just got the car, there was no tissues around at the moment and I stupidly left it to dry. Tried to remove it with some isopropyl alcohol today and it got worst :(, it basically wiped out the paint and even left a black splotch...
i think my only way out is some paint now, does anyone know how to fix this? ie. where to buy the correct coloured paint etc. Maybe some Honda staff would know this :D
here's a pic:

(quite an eyesore esp since I only got the car 1.5wks ago:( )
I'm in perth FYI

nothing you can do. happened to mine too, i tried everything. covering it with paint will just make it look even bad.

yup, there is nothing u can do about it unless u wanna to deco ur whole dashboard area n then it can be covered with watever u wanna to deco... eg. cubic printing or putting fur material cloth or a small figure... actually, it will be more advisable not to put car perfume in our ride cos as time goes by, u will get a sour smell due to prolong exposure to e car perfume... since ur ride is new (i assumed), try not to put e perfume... ur car will still smell as brand new car even after a yr or so as mine does.. :)

i got a demo car... it didn't really smell as new in fact it had a weird smell i didn't like hence the air freshener.
what other ideas can u give me to 'decorate' that area? cubic printing and fur sounds a little too much for me, something simpler for a guy perhaps?

hmm.. wat is ur style like? do you like V.I.P. style?
As for the smell, have u put air filter in ur ride? use a carbon one like Cairefresh... it will help to eliminate the smell...

i think i'll settle with some carbon fibre vinyl...do u noe if any modders here sell a piece cut out specifically for the jazz?
i have no idea what an air filter is ! the smell isnt that a big problem now, i tink either i've gotten use to it or it's wearing away.

I'm not too sure about in Australia... sorry...
the filter is meant for ur ride air con... cairefresh is one of the commonly & trusted one that is used here... jazz dun have any air con filter when sold to us... having such filter helps & i hv extracted some info from website:
'...Cairefresh has developed an aftermarket air filter for airconditioners. Containing an electrostatically-charged polypropylene fibre, this filter inhibits fungi and mould growth as neutralising exhaust odours.' (http://www.aas.com.sg/features/archive/f10041.htm)
