da reason is i wasn't there that moment. so yea, the scratch is on the rear left wheel which will prob cost heaps to fix coz da whole rear quarter panel.

27-09-2007, 10:23 PM
Oh ouch yeah it could cost more if its a huge panel.

a suggestion which doesn't involve respraying the whole pannel is to use a a mobile paint repairer such as Chips Away.
though i would have thought that they should pay for it. do they even admit that they scratched it or are they claiming it was there when you brought the car in?

i'd report it to them. Take it to a panel beater and ask for the cost of the repair and then give them the bill to pay.

no point in claiming insurance, increase premium and excess would probably be greater then repairing it

there would be no point to claim insurance, make sure you find someone that does a good job though i had someone that did my mums car and now its cracking....the entire door frame is off colour compared to the rest of the car. so have a look around...

if you're free one day just go to their shop again and tell each new customer what happened and the fat plick was extremely rude after damaging your car
im sure that will get his fat grease clogged heart pumping
probably no good to say this now, but if you ever leave your car with a service centre take photos of the whole car beforehand (maybe when u get there so u can prove they werent taking a yr ago)

on thursday, i left my car there da whole ***n day and they didnt even do anything.
they said they gonna call me when its done, nothing, i call em back at 4:30 and they said sorry mate we haven't even got ur car on da hoist yet. it's too busy now. they said it should be done at 5:30. when i came back there, i saw all the workers just bludging off and my car was still parked outside.
that's just shit service. the only car they are be careful is 1 holden monaro and da rest they didn't even bothered.

Hey dude, I know a guy who went to that place you just mentioned. Unfortunately they broke one of his studs on the hub or something and gave him a free set or rims or something. I'm assuming they had to fix the stud.
Just get a quote and demand the manager of the place to pay for it.

Where is Tyrepower?
I know there's TTF (The Tyre Factory) in Braybrook...but I've never seen Tyrepower.
There's also Number One Tyres on Duke Street; cheap and reliable!

the service of some places are terrible, im in nsw, syd, and iv gotten two different cars services at midas on victoria road, west ryde. and the service is bullsh!t, srsly.
first car was my 02 civic sedan went into for the 99service plus thing ended up paying over 200 for shit they did, but didnt mind cuz i had the money.
2nd time is my current car 99 EK all i had was 100bucks, went in for the 99service plus even told them all i have is 100 and not to do any extra work. the **** tried to charge me 500. then they told me they did extra work.
when i went home to check they didnt do jacksh!t, didnt even change my airfilter which they said they did.
unlucky for the scrap, but yeh u should report them or threaten to unless they pay for damages.
