front bumper replacement

hi. i recently hit another car and i found a replacement bumper although i am not sure if it will fit. my car is a EJ8 and the wrecker i rang didnt know much about the model that fit the car/bumper. if i bought it,would it fit on my car?? the person said that all he knew is that it would fit a model from 1995 to 1998 or sumthing and that it would fit my car...thanks

Sounds like he is trying to offload a civic 96-98 bumper to you.

EJ8... that is the coupe yer? You going to want one from a coupe not just a 96-98 hatch. Unless you have a fetish for fugly black stripes.

yes its a coupe....i was going to respray the bumper anyways...as the paint has already come off the bumper due to the accident...would it look the same or would it look different????

DO u want my EJ8 bumper bar? its red lols bcuz im gettin a facelift for my car atms. got d EM1 front bar n rear. do u noe where to get EM1 side fenders/ front guards?

yes it would fit your car BUT it won't looks the same as your cars original front bar, due to the black moulds on the side of the bar.

however if your going to respray the front bar which your going to buy from the wreckers you can ask them to take the moulds off and bog up the holes. easier alternative since finding an oem ej8 front bar nowadays is pretty difficult, and it will look the same as an ej8 front bar:)

if you need one i got one at work that was gona go on my car but cant be stuff putting it on... and also can get my panel beater to paint it
