Hey i recently bought an eg5 vti with a d16 in it (and a sunroof:thumbsup:). im just wondering whether i can get decent n/a power out of the d16, and if the vtec can be set so i can get the same surge of power with high rpm that comes with a b16a or b18c? thanks guys

hi there...welcome...
i also have EG5 VTi...mods are listed in my sig...and as said by others, the vtec engagement wouldn't be as obvious as the B series...unless u've driven it hard enough that u notice when it engages...i'm using ghetto CAI with K&N pod, when vtec hits, u'll hear it a bit more than with stock airbox...
anyway, get ur mods done lightly...if u're not satisfied, there's always B and K series waiting:p

yeah i know i will never get the knife-edge vtec engagement, but i want to know if a vtec controller will make it not-so-linear. thanks heaps
